Our university has established the Andaman Agricultural and Food Science Service Centre, providing the service to analyse soil, fertilizers, water, food and molecules. The analysis is conducted by expert personnel, with international standard equipment and laboratories, with the aim to support the Andaman region for the growth of the tourism industry.

Besides this, the centre has been working under the 20 year mission and strategies of the university for local development, following the royal policy (2017 - 2036). The guideline from this meeting will contribute towards the setting of the direction to drive local economic development efficiently.

Moreover, it would promote the centre as the learning and training centre in agricultural technology, knowledge and innovation, as well as to be the centre of cooperation between government agencies, private sectors, and farmers to enhance agricultural technology through research, development, investment, transformation and commercial management.”
