PKRU prepares home isolation area for its staff
- Aug 30, 2021
Building, Facility and Service Division, under the President’s Office at Phuket Rajabhat University, prepared a building to be used as home isolation area for the university staff who are Covid-19 patients with no symptoms or mild symptoms. The area preparation is opening following the university’s staff care and welfare and to cope with the possible shortage of hospital beds in the main hospitals and the 2nd temporary hospital established by the university and public health agents on the island.
In addition, home isolation is the solution when patient beds in the hospitals are not sufficient; as the patients with no symptoms or mild symptoms or stable patients can stay at home or other areas provided with assistance and follow up checks by medical staff. The home isolating patients must stay in their residences; no visitors are allowed, wear face masks worn all the time, stay at least 2 meters away from family members, do not share bathrooms, toilets, appliances, food, and laundry with others, frequently clean hands, and segregate patient trash.
In this crisis of Covid-19, PKRU are more than ready to assist our students and staff. We will overcome this difficult time together.
