Thailand Open Karate-Do Championship @PKRU



Phuket Rajabhat University hosts Thailand Open Karate – Do Champion on August 20th – 23rd 2022, 650 athletes from 25 countries participating the event.
This sport event is held by Thailand Karate Federation (TKF) in collaboration with the Sport Authority of Thailand (SAT); the National Sports Development Fund Phuket Branch; Tourism Authority of Thailand; and Phuket Rajabhat University.

It is the first international sport event held in Asia after 2 years of COVID19 crisis welcoming 651 athletes from 25 countries including Algeria, Australia, Brazil, England, Germany, Hongkong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Luxemburg, Malaysia, Nepal, Netherland, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Bruni, Laos, Singapore, America, Kuwait, and Ukraine; featuring 5 different categories of under 12 years, under 14 years, cadet, junior, and senior categories.
Miss Yanisa Torrattanawattana, the Coach of Thai National Karete Do team revealed the Thai athletes had been well preparing for this competition and the outstanding athletes would be selected as the representatives of Thailand to join the world youth karate championship in October held in Turkey.
