PKRU holds training on ‘Outcome Based Education Management’

During March 3rd – 5th 2020, the Office of Education Quality Assurance at Phuket Rajabhat University held a workshop on ‘Outcome Based Education Management’ at Kae Saed Conference Room in Chalerm Phra Kiat Building in the university. The main instructors for this workshop were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pharm. Kanyada Anuwong, an expert in education management and education quality assurance, with her team. The attendants of the workshop included Asst. Prof. Dr. Hiran Prasarnkarn, the President of Phuket Rajabhat University; Asst. Prof. Dr. Suwicha Wiriyamanuwong, Vice President in Academics; university executives, academic personnel, and quality assurance staff from the southern Rajabhat Universities network.
 
 
 
 
 
This workshop intended to enhance the capacity in academic affairs of the university, especially in outcome based education management, by setting up the framework and subject matter for further curriculum development and management. The attendants figured out what needs to be improved in curriculum management. Moreover, the academic personnel have guidelines in providing self-assessment reports that are compatible with outcome based education management. In addition, the university has been working on well-organized education quality assurance and developing academic criteria for diverse curriculums to promote academic achievements of students.
